Dengue: We are now faced with a problem even government and experts are having a concern in resolving.
What can we do about it(dengue)?
Still, the best way is to get rid of the mosquito dengue carrier (Dengue Virus Transmission. Dengue viruses are transmitted to humans through the bites of infective female Aedes mosquitoes. Most commonly, the mosquitoes involved are Aedes aegypti and Aedes albopictus, two species which can also transmit other mosquito-borne viruses, including zika and chikungunya.)
We all heard of the best ways to get rid of them, the no stagnant water, Fogging, the consistent cleaning and all that. But the question is? Why do we still have them.
Basically, we have to be consistent, Cleaning, no stagnant water, Misting, Fogging, Mechanical Control such as Light trap and Bug Zapper. All of them helps as long as it kills, traps, and repels the mosquito away, they are all good. But we just have to be consistent in activating all those factors to get rid of them.
Misting activity inside your house
Light Traps installed in your facility.
Outdoor Bug Zapper to refrain them to enter your structure
The Glue board inside the light traps can catch not just mosquitoes but almost all aerial pests.
There are different designs of Light Traps that would not compromise the interior look of your house or your facility.
Basically, there are many ways to control the dengue mosquito carrier, but we just have to be consistent. Let us all just accept that dengue problem is all around us now, and it is only up to us if we put our guards Up or Down.
The information is already out there in controlling them. but again, and again, and again the question is are we consistent in our action plans against them? Implementing is mostly where we fail, there are so many dengue campaigns from barangay level, Local Government Unit to National Government, but do we implement them consistently?
Controlling the Dengue Mosquito Carrier should not just be a defense now that it is a hot topic, It has to be our way of life.
